Preventive Check-Ups
Regular preventive check-ups help detect health issues early and maintain your long-term well-being.
Once a year, the costs are covered by your health insurance.
Two appointments are necessary: During the first appointment, a blood sample is taken and, along with a urine sample, sent to the laboratory for testing. A second appointment is then scheduled to discuss the results and perform the physical examination.
Please attend the blood test on an empty stomach (no food for at least 8 hours prior, except for black coffee, tea, or water). Don't forget to bring any relevant medical documents, previous reports, and your vaccination record!
Vaccinations
Vaccinations are an essential part of prevention. We provide all standard vaccinations, along with personalised advice on vaccination plans to ensure your protection.
All infant and young children’s vaccinations from the free vaccination programme are available at our practice. Missed school vaccinations can also be administered here until the age of 15 (HPV vaccinations are available until the age of 30).
Nutritional Medicine and Micronutrient Therapy
A balanced diet and the proper intake of micronutrients are essential for your well-being and health.
We offer personalised consultations to optimise your metabolism and help maintain or regain your performance – well into old age.
Additionally, micronutrient therapy works preventively by helping to identify and correct deficiencies in vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, thereby reducing the risk of diet-related diseases. Through orthomolecular medicine, we support your health at the cellular level and contribute to enhancing your vitality.
Intravenous Treatments
We offer a variety of intravenous drip treatments to address specific conditions and nutrient deficiencies:
- Micronutrient drips (e.g. for exhaustion or increased demand for vitamins, minerals, trace elements, or amino acids)
- Electrolyte drips – for electrolyte imbalances or fluid deficiency
- Pain relief drips – single or as a series
- Iron drips – for those with deficiencies
- Drip treatments for acute infections
Vagus Nerve Stimulation
This is a non-invasive, painless method of nerve stimulation applied to the ear. It is used for neurological, mental, and physical conditions, such as:
- Chronic fatigue syndrome
- Anxiety and depression
- Epilepsy
- Chronic pain
- Migraine
- Hyperactivity
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Sleep disorders
- Tinnitus
Infiltration Therapy
This therapy is used to treat various types of pain and movement restrictions.
It is applied for the following conditions, among others:
- Neck pain and tension headaches
- Dizziness, tinnitus
- Pain and movement restrictions in the spine and surrounding muscles
- Pain and movement restrictions in joints
- Pain caused by joint wear (osteoarthritis)
- Pain and inflammation in tendon attachments
Electrostimulation and Ultrasound Therapy
Ultrasound therapy is primarily used for pain or injuries affecting ligaments, tendons, or bursae. It is also applied in cases of osteoarthritis, delayed healing after bone fractures, as well as rheumatic or chronic inflammatory conditions, resulting in significant symptom improvement.
Electrotherapy is used for pain relief and stimulates metabolism, which accelerates wound healing and improves muscle and joint function.
Information
We do not have a direct agreement with any health insurance provider. The fees for services are paid upfront by you via invoice. If you are an Austrian resident, we submit the invoice to your insurance provider, and a portion of the costs is reimbursed. If you have supplementary insurance, it often covers the remaining amount.
If you are from outside Austria, your travel insurance provider will cover the costs, and you will need to handle the reimbursement process directly.
